OUR ORIGIN
RARAʻA: (def) Weaving
Our mother is native to the island of Rurutu which is about an hour flight away from Tahiti. Rurutu is known for their master weavers & she began Raraʻa-- weaving at 6 years old. She has passed the art of weaving along with some of her creations down to us & encouraged us to begin this business to share the artisana of Rurutu with Hawai’i.
